Let the Sunshine Out Winner

The winner of this contest was Jane Wentling. Congratulations to Jane for your very sunshine-y painting. Great shadows!

Let the Sunshine Out

Vanguard Artists held a "contest" with a them of "Let the Sunshine Out". We were to paint something that showed the sunshine and there were many imaginative takes to show the sunshine. Below are photos of all the entries, the display made it difficult to include all of the paintings in one shot so I took several.

There is an Easter bunny,

I've seen him in our yard...

And some of you have painted him,

And put him on a card...

I saw him in our garden

Hidings eggs just right...

Johnny wants the red egg,

"Now children let's not fight".

When the bunny's task is over,

And the children have their fun...

Filling all their baskets

In the morning sun...

After eating all Easter eggs,

You might need to rest...

But the ones made of chocolate,

Are the very best!...
