Vanguard Artists, founded in 1977, is a premier group of professional artists who meet at 1:00pm on the first Friday of the Month (except summers) at the Sun City West Foundation in Sun City West, Arizona. Its major focus is to provide a forum for the critiquing of art work produced by each artist. This analysis of painting results in generating better quality work. Vanguard Artists, with its quest for excellence, enriches the community through networking, education and ultimately, finer art.

Lord of Life Lutheran Church Display
The paintings of Vanguard Artists Ross Snodgrass, Woodie Mackie and Susan Roper are currently on display at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West on Meeker and R.H. Johnson Boulevard. Pat Knorr sent these photos of the show, stop in and take a look during the week at the church Social Hall.
