Vanguard Artists, founded in 1977, is a premier group of professional artists who meet at 1:00pm on the first Friday of the Month (except summers) at the Sun City West Foundation in Sun City West, Arizona. Its major focus is to provide a forum for the critiquing of art work produced by each artist. This analysis of painting results in generating better quality work. Vanguard Artists, with its quest for excellence, enriches the community through networking, education and ultimately, finer art.

Vanguard Artists welcomed six of the new members at Friday's meeting. They are, from left-to-right: Liz Mullen, Jeanine Koessel, Helen Tomich, Helen Cliché, Elizabeth Moore. & Dyanne Locati
Vanguard also celebrated the installation of the 2012 officers, and we thank them for their continued service to Vanguard: Nan Adams Treasurer, Louise Carroll Vice President, Joan Hahn Widman Secretary and Connie Bollard President.
